our story —

Crescent started at home.

Mira opened Crescent at the Saturday-morning farmers' market in 2014, baking out of her home oven and selling out by 9am. It took two years and a small SBA loan to convert the corner storefront on Maple, where we've been ever since.

Today we're four bakers, one apprentice, and a starter named Penelope. We bake what we want to eat, in quantities we can finish, with people we want to spend mornings around.

If we're sold out, we're sold out — come back tomorrow. Standing orders are a good idea →.
